The REMS 560020 Tiger is a robust, compact, and lightweight reciprocating pipe saw. It is designed for steel pipes up to 160mm and timber up to 250mm. The guide support with 5-fold leverage enables fast, effortless right-angle sawing anywhere on site without a vice. It provides 400% additional sawing power for fast, effortless sawing, achieving a perfect right-angle cut in a 2″ steel pipe in just 8 seconds.
The saw is extremely robust and site-proven with a slender design. It is extremely light at just 3kg. The ergonomically designed front housing has a slip-resistant heat-insulated grip, a straight-shaped handle, and a flexible supporting shoe for secure blade guidance. A silicone gasket protects the gear from dust and water.
The powerful universal motor is 1,050W. The ideal fixed speed of 2,200rpm provides optimum cutting speed to protect the motor and maximize saw blade life. The square lift rod is solid steel, sturdy, and mounted precisely in the needle bearings. This directs the force along the complete length of the stroke, producing distortion-free, precise cutting during tough use and long service life.
The saw features an oscillating drive with ANC. The new super-stable, maintenance-free, water and dust-resistant oscillating drive delivers simultaneous sawing stroke and orbital action to the saw blade. The needle bearing mounted crank drive (ANC) reduces heat, friction, and wear, providing a long service life even with heavy use.
The aggressive orbital action provides a vertical hacking motion of the saw blade, which in turn provides fast forward feed through the saw blade. The orbital action mechanism runs in needle bearings to ensure long-lasting service even in heavy-duty situations such as pipe sawing.
The universal saw blade clamp allows saw blades to be clamped without changing or turning the saw blade thrust piece. The REMS special saw blade is essential for right-angle sawing with guide support. It is extra thick and resistant to bending and twisting. It has a wide clamping face that is double tang mounted to ensure accurate seating and high stability. The coarse corrugated tooth pattern allows for fast cutting and long service life.
